We were in a field with several other photographers getting a far away wolf shot. A herd of Bison got in between us and the road, and while waiting for them to pass, was able to get a close look.
The early October snow provided this shot too. Who knew Lexington had cows.
Seeing Bison in the thermal section of Yellowstone was less common. While climbing up to one of the geysers caught this lone one in the field against the steaming and mountainous background.
