In an effort to get some Christmas Card pics, got this at Meadowbrook in Arlington. The Merlin app helped with the calls to bring him in close.
I drove from LA to Bosque Del Apache to get a Snow Goose. Zilch. Luckily they came to Parker River (briefly) and got this one and his family.
The Pintails were hanging out in the salt pans which a birder told me was unusual. Good for us since got some good shots including this semi-action pic.
