I was on a jeep safari at Nagarhole when the photographer I was with needed a rest stop. We came across a ranger camp in the middle of the woods and caught this shot while waiting for the others. Friends helping friends.
On the third day at Yellowstone we headed north for early morning shots. Got several good ones with the mist rising with the sun.
The id on this one is unofficial. Hiking through a forest in Costa Rica (forget where) looking for birds, we struck out. The guide did not know any calls to coax the birds from the trees. In any case, this snake came across our path and stayed relatively close. Come to find out later it's mildly venomous!!
