Bobby Sands was a member of the Provisional IRA during the intense years of The Troubles. He was sent to the Maze prison in Belfast for his activities in support of the Republican cause. He led a hunger strike of several other Republican soldiers in support of prisoner rights, which they were deprived of during their captivity. He died in 1981 but is boldly remembered in this mural on the side wall of Sinn Fein headquarters.

Space Needle, Seattle WA

On my way to get some sunrise photos at Kerry Park in August of 2016, I got this early morning 5am shot of the Space Needle. Just minutes before, while parked in the lot of a 24 hour gas station getting coffee, a homeless man entered the backseat of my car and scared the living daylights out of me. Fortunately it was just a scare. I was more frustrated by the lackluster sunrise shot I got later that morning.
